The juvenile’s grandfather was accompanied by a relative to the city criminal branch in the viral footage. Reactions from internet users erupted when the relative was spotted pushing camera and heckling media representatives. “This is the full consequence of what his nephew did,” wrote one person in comments section, while “That’s what happens when you commit crime,” said another.
The Fatal Porsche Car Accident
Two software engineers who were riding motorbike in Kalyani Nagar, Pune, were killed in an alleged drunken driving incident involving a 17-year-old who was driving a Porsche Taycan. Police responded right away to the incident, which happened in the wee hours of Sunday. Because the father let his little son operate the vehicle, putting people at risk, the boy’s father, Vishal Agarwal has been under arrest. Additionally, providing alcohol to minors has resulted in the detention of two staff members as well as the owner of the Cosie restaurant and Hotel Blak Club in Mundhwa.
Sequence of Events Leading to the Tragedy
According to police investigations, the teenager had been drinking at the Blak Marriott bar before the accident. After public criticism over his quick release, the youngster was first given parole on a guarantee of Rs 7,500 but was then sent to an observation home till June 5.
Grandfather’s Statement to the Police
The juvenile’s grandfather, during his testimony, recounted that the teenager informed the family about a celebration for his Class XII results. After consulting with his son, the grandfather handed over the car keys and a credit card for the party expenses. He claimed to be unaware of the possible repercussions of his actions.
According to the family’s driver, the teenager drove the Porsche from their Wadgaon Sheri bungalow to Cosie and then to the Blak Marriott pub. Despite being drunk, the teenager insisted on driving the car back. The driver, who followed in another vehicle, contacted the boy’s father when the teen refused to hand over the keys. The father instructed the driver to let his son drive and to accompany him in the passenger seat, leading to the tragic accident.
