It was a tribute to a player who had quite an impact on the domestic circuit of Indian cricket. His stint in the Indian cricket team was brief but was quite memorable as he still holds a place in everyone’s heart.
His untimely death left everyone shocked and sent a shockwave around the cricketing world. According to the Karnataka State Cricket Association(KSCA), Johson suffered a horrific accident that led to his passing away.
An Untimely Tragedy
According to KSCA, Jhonson died after falling from the balcony of his fourth-floor apartment. He was rushed to the hospital as soon as possible but was declared dead upon arrival.
The former Indian player was managing a cricket academy but was not in good health for several months. Johnson was a prominent figure in Karnataka’s Ranji team alongside legends like Anil Kumble, Javagal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad, and Dodda Ganes.
Johnson is survived by his wife and two children. Our thoughts are with the family members in these tough times. We hope that they find the strength to recover from this loss.
