Stock Market Today: The GIFT Nifty trends show that the wider index in India is off to a good start, having gained 50.5 points. At 24,207.5, the Nifty futures are trading while writing. Indian equity indices saw a decline for the second straight session today. With the Nifty closing below 24,150 on the back of mixed macroeconomic data that showed the CPI declining to almost a 5-year low in July and the IIP expanding more slowly than expected in June, at 4.2 percent. With a barrier around 24,500 on the higher side, the Nifty 50 indicates that the index may stay in a range bound and consolidation mode as long as it stays over 24,000.

Apollo Hospitals
Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited is a worldwide healthcare organisation based in India. At 71 owned and managed facilities, it is the biggest for-profit private hospital network in India. Through its subsidiaries, the corporation runs digital healthcare services, telehealth clinics, pharmacies, primary care and diagnostic facilities, and more in addition to its own hospital chain. The first quarter ending June 2024 saw an 83% increase in total net profit at Rs 305 crore for the well-known healthcare group Apollo Hospitals.
Vodafone Idea
Vodafone Idea, sometimes known by its abbreviation Vi, is an Indian telecommunications firm with Gandhinagar and Mumbai as its main locations. It is a mobile phone service provider that is an integrated GSM operator serving all of India. Major mining and metals company Vedanta Ltd. said on Tuesday that its committee of directors has given the go-ahead for the offer for sale (OFS) of up to 11 crore shares, or 2.6% of Hindustan Zinc’s equity.
