Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s flick Stree 2 is creating waves with its Box Office Collection. Amar Kaushik directed film is receiving love and support from all around the world. The movie was an Independence Day gift to the viewers. The audience also turned up in huge numbers to watch the film. On the first day, the sequel of ‘Stree’ surpassed the opening day collection of two massive hits, Pathaan and Animal, making it the biggest film of the year. The film also left behind the simultaneous Independence Day releases, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel Mein‘ and John Abraham’s ‘Vedaa‘ by a great margin. With the extended weekend, the film’s collection is expected to break many records.
Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 2
Fans were awaiting the sequel of the 2018 horror comedy film Stree and after six years, Stree 2 was finally released. The film’s first-day collection stunned the audience with its massive numbers. The movie opened with a gigantic collection of INR 60.3 cr (India net) surpassing Pathaan’s record of INR 55 cr and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal (INR 54.75 cr). Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2: Sarkate ka Aatank grossed 76.50 cr Worldwide on its opening day, making the net count above 106 cr. The film is anticipated to break numerous records as the long weekend awaits.
Stree 2 Overtakes Gadar 2 and other Independence Day Releases
Stree 2 has already surpassed the previous year’s Independence Day hit, ‘Gadar 2’ by a reasonable margin. Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel starrer, the sequel of ‘Gadar’ grossed a little above INR 83 cr in the first two days. Stree 2’s India collection is 90.3 Cr and Amar Kaushik’s film is all set to go higher. Along with Stree 2, Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal starrer ‘Khel Khel Mein‘ was also released on Independence Day but the collection couldn’t go past INR 6.95 crore in two days. John Abraham and Sharvari starring ‘Vedaa’ also couldn’t crack a double-digit collection, its two-day collection is INR 7.9 cr.
‘Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Atank’ is a Bollywood film directed by Amar Kaushik, written by Niren Bhatt and produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. It is a sequel to the 2018 film ‘Stree.’
