KL Rahul has hit a brilliant ton on his return to the Test side and helped India to dominate the proceedings on Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test against South Africa in Centurion.

India finished Day 1 at 272/3 and only Lungi Ngidi was the wicket-taker for South Africa on Day 1 with his three top wickets.
Rahul is also now the highest run-scorer as an Indian opener in South Africa supassing Wasim Jaffer’s 116 in 2006/07. He also became the second Indian opener to score a Test century in South Africa after Wasim Jaffer’s 116 at Cape Town in 2007.
