Sakshi Malik rejected these claims, stating that two BJP leaders, Babita Phogat and Tirath Rana, helped the wrestlers get permission to protest in Haryana. “There were rumors of Congress backing our protest, but in reality, it was the BJP leaders who supported us initially,” Malik shared.
