Actor Kangana Ranaut, who is currently indulged in a verbal spat with Shiv Sena, on Sunday, met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. The actress had a word with the Governor with respect to the “unjust treatment” she received during her stay in Mumbai.
The Manikarnika actress met the Mahrashtra Governor at Raj Bhavan along with her sister, Rangoli Chandel.
“I told him about the unjust treatment I have received. I hope justice will be given to me so that the faith of all citizens, including young girls, is restored in the system. I am fortunate that the governor listened to me like his own daughter,” she was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
Kangana, who came to Mumbai on September 9, left the city on Monday with a “heavy heart” after “being terrorised”.
“With a heavy heart leaving Mumbai, the way I was terrorised all these days constant attacks and abuses hurled at me attempts to break my house after my work place, alert security with lethal weapons around me, must say my analogy about POK was bang on (sic),” she tweeted as she headed to the airport.
After landing in Chandigarh for her return to Manali, the actress shared a tweet targeting the Sena as well as Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
“It seems this time I was saved. There was a time when I felt a mother’s touch in Mumbai, but today the situation is such that I am lucky to be alive. The moment Shiv Sena became Sonia Sena, the Mumbai administration became a terror,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, last week the Bombay High Court put a stay on demolition of Kangana’s office in Mumbai’s posh Pali Hill after her petition. The case has been adjourned till September 22.
Kangana had earlier said that she will not renovate her demolished property as a symbol of a woman’s will to rise.
