2024 KTM 990 Duke: Austrian sport bike manufacturer, KTM has revealed it new KTM 990 Duke at EICMA 2023. The new sports beast is introduced as the coveted 1000cc Naked bike. KTM’s all new 990 Duke comes above the 890 Duke GP in the hierarchy. The new 990 Duke will be manufactured at KTM’s main facility at Mattighofen, Austria.
KTM 990 Duke: Powertrain
KTM 990 Duke is equipped with a new 949cc LC8c Euro 5+ complaint engine. The powerhouse is made with liquid cooled parallel twin technology and churns out the maximum power of 121 bhp and a peak torque of 103 Nm at 6750 rpm. It comes coupled with a 6-speed gearbox and quickshifter option.
KTM 990 Duke: Features
2024 KTM 990 Duke features 5 riding modes which include Rain, Street, Sport, Performance and Track Mode. While Performance mode offers some amount of customization with cruise and launch control to the rider. On the other second optional mode, Track mode can enhance the performance of the bike while racing on the track. Track mode disables cruise control. While the launch control gets enabled for the race and the instrumental console shows all the relevant data.
KTM 990 Duke Advanced Specs
KTM 990 Duke boasts advanced features such as a three-stage sensitive traction control system which provides great performance in all terrains. TFT display in the KTM 990 Duke displays all the ride related data along with a USB-C Charging port.
