Ather 450X vs 450 Pro Scooter: Ather recently updated their current product line. The latest 450X has been introduced with Pro Pack even though the manufacturer has discontinued its most affordable model, the 450 Plus model. These days, the business solely offers the 450X model.
The Ather 450X now comes in a new base version that serves as the company’s entry-level product. Ather 450X is available for Rs 98,183 at launch, and it costs Rs 1,28,443 with the Pro bundle.
Both have some unique features
A greyscale dashboard with numerous connected smart functions is available on the Ather 450X. Nevertheless, it receives the same LED lighting. Guide-me-home lighting, automatic turn signals, and Bluetooth are included with the 450X Pro.
A multi-color dashboard, 4G connectivity, and linked functions are also included. In addition, this electric scooter with the Pro Pack offers Hill Assist, Park Assist, and Riding Modes, which makes it smart.
Ather 450X vs 450 Pro Scooter: Battery
The battery pack for both scooters is the same. It has a battery with a 3.7 kWh capacity and a 146 km certified range. However, the charging times for the two electric scooters varied significantly. The charging time for the 450X electric scooter is 12 hours and 15 minutes for 80% and 15 hours and 20 minutes for 100%. To get 80% charge on the 450X Pro pack, it takes 4 hours 30 minutes. At the same time, it takes 5 hours 40 minutes to charge it up to 100%. When charging from Ather Grid, it charges at 1.5 km/min between 0-50% and 1 km/min between 50-80%. The 450X does not get free access to the Ather Grid.
Know about the warranty
The guarantee for the electric scooter and the charger is for 30,000 miles or three years. Despite the fact that the battery’s warranty is different. 3 years or 30,000 miles on the 450X and 5 years or 60,000 miles on the Pro Pack are the warranties. Both electric scooters have a maximum output of 6.4 kWh and 26 Newton metres of torque. These electric scooters can go from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and have a top speed of 90 km/h.
