Bajaj Pulsar N160 vs TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: The Indian two-wheeler market has seen the introduction of yet another new Bajaj Pulsar model. The Bajaj Pulsar N160 model for 2023 has only lately entered the market, according to Bajaj Auto. The cost, ex-showroom, is Rs. 1.3 lakh. An improved engine has been included for the new Bajaj Pulsar model. This motorbike is OBD-2 and E20 gasoline compatible thanks to the company. The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is this bike’s main rival in terms of cost and features. Let’s see how these two motorcycles compare.
Bajaj Pulsar N160 vs TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: Features
The frame of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 is made of tubular steel. It will have features including a large handlebar, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, an under-belly exhaust and an LED taillight. Its fuel tank will be 14 litres.
A contoured 12 litre fuel tank is included with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. Single-piece seat, upswept dual-barrel exhaust, and completely digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity are some of its highlights. 17-inch wheels will be installed on both motorcycles.
Safety features
Both the Bajaj Pulsar and the TVS Apache will have front and rear disc brakes for the rider’s safety. However, the Apache will only receive a single-channel ABS system, while the new Pulsar will receive a dual-channel ABS system. Both bikes will have mono-shock suspension in the back and telescopic forks up front.
Apache RTR 160 4V vs Pulsar N160: Engine
A 164.82 cc air cooled, 4-valve, single cylinder, OBD-2 and E20 fuel compatible engine powers the new Bajaj Pulsar N160. In addition, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has a single-cylinder, air-cooled, 159.7 cc engine with four valves. Both bikes come with a five-speed gearbox.
