Bajaj Sales: Bajaj Auto has recently released a press release in which it states the sales data for the month of October. The company has recorded 35 percent year-on-year growth in the domestic two wheelers sales in the country. According to the officially released data, it sold a total of 206131 units of two wheelers in October.
The automaker also recorded a steep decline of 5 percent Y-o-Y in its exports. The company exported 135772 units in October’22, but this year it remained limited to 129658 units.
Commercial Vehicle Sales Oct’ 22
Bajaj Auto has recorded a positive domestic sales growth in the commercial vehicle sales as it sold 51132 units in October 2023 as compared to just 36786 units sold in October’22. As mentioned in the regulatory filing, the brand has recorded highest ever domestic commercial vehicle sales in October 2023.
But if we talk about CV exports, the company has recorded a downward trend with a decline of 28 percent in the commercial vehicle exports. The company exported 16549 units of CVs in October’22 as compared to just 11912 units in Oct’23.
Two-wheeler Sales Oct’ 22
Bajaj Auto has also recorded an upward trend in Year-to-date domestic 2 wheelers sales while registering a Y-o-Y growth of 16 percent in the segment. The automaker sold 1326737 units in April’2023 as compared to the sales 1141683 units in April’ 2022.
While the company has recorded a positive growth in the domestic sales in every segment, it has recorded a downward trend in its exports for some specific reason. It seems that Bajaj Auto needs to devise some fresh strategies to achieve a positive growth in the exports too.
