Bentley sold more cars than ever in 2022, Aisa pacific region saw the most growth, all you should know

Bentley: With 15,174 models sold, Bentley enjoyed another outstanding sales year in 2022. That is an increase of 4% from 2021.

Bentley Sale Figures

The SUV Bentayga, which has been on sale for six years, remained the best-selling product for the company. Up from 40% in 2021, the model accounted for 42% of the company’s global sales. With 30% of sales, the Continental GT and GT Convertible were the brand’s second-best-selling vehicles in 2022. 31 per cent of the model mix was made up of the speedy GT Speed variations.

The remaining portion of the automaker’s 2022 sales totals was made up by the Flying Spur. Bentley credits the model’s new hybrid version, which made about 30% of the mix, for its successful year. The Flying Spur Hybrid, however, accounted for 65 per cent of sales internationally, the greatest percentage anywhere.

America remained Bentley’s most important continent. Sales increased by less than 1%, making up 28% of total sales, with 4,221 cars sold. Second place went to Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, where 4,033 vehicles, or 25% of the brand’s sales, were sold. With 19% of sales, Europe was the third-best-selling market for the brand, behind the UK (1,328) and the Asia Pacific (1,651). (10 per cent). Just 6% of the total 968 sales came from markets in the Middle East, Africa, and India.

Adrian Hallmark, the CEO and Chairman of Bentley remarked “In what was another year of unpredictability, the business overcame significant headwinds and demonstrated great resilience to deliver the third consecutive record sales year, This underlines our brand strength, operational excellence, and strong global demand by market and model.”

Growth figures

Sales increased across the board, with the Asian Pacific region seeing the largest increase—23%—when compared to 2021. In 2022, the populations of China, Europe, the UK, and the Middle East grew by 9, 11, 12, and 6%, respectively. 241 retailers work for the business in 65 nations.

Bentley’s hybrid vehicles and Mulliner brand contributed to another successful sales year. The demand for Mulliner’s exterior paint has doubled while personal commissions have tripled since 2020, according to the automaker. The manufacturer is working toward completing full electrification by 2030 as part of its Beyond100 initiative.
