BMW: The diesel 7 Series, 740d M Sport, and i7 M70 xDrive have been introduced by German automaker BMW in India. Their respective prices are Rs 1.81 crore and Rs 2.50 crore. The BMW i7 M70 xDrive will be a CBU, whereas the BMW 740d M Sport is domestically produced at BMW’s Chennai factory. In this article, we will tell you all about these amazing cars.
BMW i7 M70 xDrive details
The strongest M-division all-electric vehicle produced by the Bavarian automaker is the BMW i7 M70 xDrive. At 660 PS and an incredible 1100 Nm, it has two electric motors installed on each axle. BMW states that its top speed is 250 kmph, and its sprint time from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.7 seconds. A 101.7 kWh battery, good for 560km, powers these electric motors.
BMW 740d M Sport details
The petrol engine that was standard on the ICE-powered 7 Series was, to be honest, not the most economical. BMW has now launched the diesel model, which features a 3-liter, 6-cylinder engine that produces 286 horsepower and 650 Nm, for those who choose a more fuel-efficient option. This is enough to get the sedan from a standstill to a tonne in six seconds and reach a top speed of 250 kmph.
