BYD e6: The BYD e6 MPV was introduced in India last year, but it was only offered to fleet and commercial customers at the time. The e6 is now the only fully electric MPV available for purchase in India thanks to its debut into the private passenger vehicle segment. Today, we will tell you all about this amazing MPV.

Motor and battery
The range of the e6 MPV, according to WLTC, is 415 kilometres on the combined cycle and 520 kilometres in the city. It has a 71.7 kWh battery pack. A 95PS electric motor with 180Nm of torque and a top speed of 130kmph is responsible for the eMPV’s power.
The battery can be fully charged from zero to one hundred per cent in 90 minutes using a 60kW DC fast charger. With speeds as low as 2 kmph, regenerative braking can recharge the batteries as well. A 7kW AC wall charger from BYD is now available, which can charge the battery entirely in 12 hours, for an additional Rs 45,000.

A 10.1-inch rotatable touchscreen, a five-inch MID, automatic climate control, and six-way power front seats are just a few of the features available with the BYD E6. Dual front and side airbags, front and rear seat belt reminders, ISOFIX child seat mounts, TPMS, and rear parking sensors with reversing cameras are all part of its safety package.
