Citroen India: Nearly every year, we saw price increases for a variety of vehicles, including both personal and passenger cars. A lot of automakers also intend to increase the cost of many different kinds of cars in different price ranges in the upcoming year. Citroen, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Honda, and Audi are among the automakers who have also stated their plans to increase prices beginning in January 2024. The brand will increase prices across its range, according to a statement from Citroen India. All models will see an increase in ex-showroom prices of 2.5–3%, depending on the model. The company currently sells Citroen C3, eC3, and C3 Aircross in the nation for retail prices.

The brand’s flagship SUV, the C5 Aircross, has a 2.0-liter diesel engine. It is coupled with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and produces 400Nm of peak torque in addition to 174bhp. The brand’s entry-level hatchback, the C3, has a 1.2-liter petrol engine with two tuning options. This includes 80 horsepower and 109 horsepower turbocharged naturally aspirated and aspirated petrol versions. The latter powertrain is utilised by the C3 Aircross, which is available with a five or seven-seat configuration.

These suggested prices are predicated on an average price increase of 3% for all Citroen model variations. Roughly speaking, the price increase for the C3 SUV will range from Rs 18,480 to Rs 26,400 based on the estimated price increase margins. The price of the Citroen eC3 electric SUV will increase by about Rs 34,800 to Rs 38,370. Estimates indicate that the flagship C5 Aircross will cost between Rs 1.10 lakh and Rs 1.13 lakh more than the recently launched C3 Aircross, which will see a price increase of about Rs 29,970 to Rs 37,620.
