Ducati: The manufacturer of high-end motorcycles, Ducati, has revealed a big foray into the Indian market. With effect from January 1, 2024, the Italian motorcycle maker will increase the prices of a few models in its premium lineup. Read on to learn more.
Ducati to hike prices
A few models and variants from Ducati‘s lineup will be affected by the impending price adjustment. All official Ducati dealerships in India, including those in the cities of New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata, will experience this adjustment.
The reason behind the price hike
Ducati India’s Managing Director, Bipul Chandra, expounded on the reasoning for this strategic choice, attributing it to the rise in operational and other production-related expenses. Chandra stressed that Ducati’s dedication to providing flair, sophistication, and performance is unwavering, even with the price adjustment. This action is considered a calculated attempt to preserve the brand’s prestige as a luxury motorcycle manufacturer.
The Hypermotard 698 Mono, DesertX Rally, Multistrada V4 RS, and Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour are among the models that Ducati offers in India.
