Electric Cars: Tata Motors announced its electric Vehicle division, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, in January of this year (TPEML). This new electric vehicle (EV) division has three platforms that the company will use to make electric cars for the next 10 years. Tata is also getting ready to sell electric versions of some of its gasoline-and-diesel cars.
The Tata Nexon EV and the new Tiago EV are both electric cars with IC engine architecture. At the same time, the upcoming Tata Altroz EV and Tata Punch EV will both be built on the Sigma platform.

The company will bring the Tata Altroz EV and the Tata Punch EV
With the new architecture, the fuel tank area has been updated. In this, the transmission tunnel has been taken out. Also, there will be a flat floor to make room for the big battery pack. Tata’s new electric cars, the Tata Altroz EV and Tata Punch EV, will be lighter, bigger, and get better gas mileage than the current model.
Tata Punch EV range
The Tata Punch EV will be able to travel more than 300 kilometres on a single full charge, according to the reports. Tata will also change the look of the Altroz EV and Tata Punch EV to make them look more like electric vehicles. These changes will include blue accents and a closed grille.

When are the Tata Altroz EV and Tata Punch EV coming out?
The Tata Altroz EV and the Tata Punch EV are both likely to come out in 2023. The Altroz EV and Punch EV will cost more than their gasoline-diesel counterparts. At the moment, the prices for the Tata Altroz hatchback models range from Rs 6.35 lakh to Rs 10.25 lakh. The Punch Mini SUV, on the other hand, costs between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9.54 lakh. Don’t forget that all of these prices are based on the ex-showroom.
