Fiat Topolino Ev car : The new Fiat Topolino is an electric quadricycle built on the Citroen Ami platform that pays homage to the Italian company’s history and represents another development in its drive towards electrification. After the 500e, Fiat’s second electric vehicle is named after the iconic city automobile it produced from 1936 to 1955. Like the 500e, it was created to “encapsulate the coolness” of the first Fiat 500.
Fiat Topolino EV car : design
The Fiat Topolino, shown here in the exact teal colour that was offered when it debuted in 1957, has open sides like the vintage 500 Jolly and a retractable top made of brown cloth. The interior is upholstered in cream leather. The Topolino focuses on sustainability while maintaining “joy, optimism, and fun” as some of its core production principles in an effort to “make young people fall in love with cars again.”
Know about the drivetrain
The Topolino, which has a top speed of 45kph and a range of up to 74km, shares its drivetrain with the little Citroen and the functionally identical Opel Rocks-e. In an effort to create environmentally friendly transportation that is “suitable for everyone,” the company also expects that the two-seater will help to promote electric vehicles for use in cities and by young families.
Fiat’s future plans
By 2027, Fiat wants to have an entirely electric lineup, as its CEO Olivier François stated: “We’re firmly banking on electric for Europe. Every new automobile will gradually get an electric variant before we move over. The people’s Tesla should be Fiat: electric for all.
