Upcoming Hybrid Cars in India: The Indian car market is set to witness the launch of more Hybrid vehicles in the coming months. The major reason for the rise in the demand for hybrid vehicles is the continuously rising cost of fossil fuels such as petrol and diesel. A large number of people are also opting for EVs over ICE vehicles. However, the Indian EV market is still in a nascent stage, but it is growing at an unprecedented pace, so we can expect it to go mainstream by the next decade. People also like hybrid vehicles over all-electric ones because they provide much better performance, power, and fuel efficiency.
In the past few years, it has been observed that manufacturers have become increasingly aware of the increasing demand for hybrid vehicles instead of all-electric vehicles. We have hybrid vehicles in India, including the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara hybrid, Toyota Innova Hycross and Honda City eHEV. Check out upcoming hybrid powertrain vehicles in India below.
