A brand-new, 100cc single-cylinder engine that complies with BS6.2 (OBD2) regulations powers the Honda Shine 100. A four-speed gearbox is coupled to the motor, which has an output of 7.6PS and 8.05Nm.
The Hero Passion Pro’s 110cc engine generates 9.1PS and 9.79Nm. A four-speed gearbox is connected to it.
Features
A simple commuter, the Honda Shine 100 has halogen lighting and an analogue dual-pod instrument dashboard providing basic readouts like speed, fuel level, and tell-tale lights. Moreover, it has a side-stand engine cut-off, an automatic choke system, and an exterior fuel pump for simpler maintenance.
The Xtec variant comes with a segment-first LED projector headlight and a full digital display, with smartphone connectivity and alerts for calls and SMS. In contrast to the Passion Pro, which has a normal headlamp and a semi-digital instrument console. Moreover, a USB charging outlet, a low fuel indicator, and a side-stand engine cutoff are included with the Xtec model. Turn-by-turn navigation is not available, though.
Price in India
The price for the Honda Shine 100 begins at Rs. 64,900. (Ex-Showroom).
Hero Passion Pro is priced between Rs. 73,808 and Rs. 81,758. There are four Hero Passion Pro models available: Drum, Disc, XTec Drum, and the top-tier Passion Pro XTec Disc, which costs Rs. 81,758.
