Honda Shine 125 OBD2 engine details
According to the new Real Driving Emission OBD2-standard, the manufacturer employed a 125 cc PGM-Fi engine in this bike. This engine has a 5-speed gearbox and can produce a maximum of 10.3 horsepower and 11 Nm of torque. The engine also incorporates friction reduction technology, which uses the piston cooling jet to reduce friction. As a result, the engine’s temperature is kept stable. The combination of an offset cylinder and a rocker roller arm, according to the manufacturer, lessens frictional damage. Thus, the engine produces more effective and efficient power.
Features onboard
In terms of features, the bike includes a new Honda ACG motor for silent starting. Additionally, it has features including an analogue speedometer, halogen headlamp, start/stop switch, and fuel gauge. The bike is now equipped with tubeless tyres and 18-inch alloy wheels. Regarding the braking system, it now comes with a combi-braking system with an equaliser, a 130 mm drum/240 mm disc brake up front, and a 130 mm drum brake at the rear.
