Honda electric two-wheelers

Company’s EV plan
In order to enter the country’s EV market, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have developed a comprehensive plan that addresses the most important aspects of manufacturing, product, and service. The Japanese two-wheeler juggernaut intends to serve the electric two-wheeler industry by constructing a factory specifically for EV production at its Narsapura plant in Karnataka, which will be known as Factory “E.” With a goal of producing 1 million units by 2030, the company will produce its own electric motors. From Honda’s affiliate suppliers, batteries and power management systems will be purchased locally.
