Hyundai Alcazar: Midway through 2021, Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) released the Alcazar in the domestic market, continuing the popularity of its sibling, the Creta. To set itself apart from the Creta, the Alcazar receives a number of design modifications that give it a more premium appearance and, more significantly, a more dominant yet mature road presence.
The Hyundai Alcazar is available in a wide range of grades (Signature, Prestige, and Platinum), with current prices ranging from Rs. 16.10 lakh to Rs. 20.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, it features a useful boot with a volume of 180 litres when all the seats are up. The six- or seven-seater versions of the midsize SUV are available for purchase.

Hyundai Alcazar features
For those who are sitting in the middle row in the former with captain chairs, there is a separately mounted cup holder. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, Bose premium audio with eight speakers, Auto healthy air purifier with AQI display, front row seatback table with retractable cup-holder and device holder, side footstep, rear window sunshade, and front row sliding sun visor are all included in the premium cabin.
With a 2,760 mm wheelbase, the Hyundai Alcazar’s cabin is both feature-rich and useful. A variety of features and technology for comfort, convenience, entertainment, security, and safety are included in the equipment list. Some of the features include a second row with one-touch tip and tumble seats (captain and 60:40 split seats) and a voice-activated smart panoramic sunroof to increase practicality.
Additionally, it has three drive modes: Eco, Sport, and Comfort. Each mode can be selected depending on the road’s surface and the driver’s preferences because the Snow, Sand, and Mud Traction Modes are also helpful. The second-largest automaker in the nation also provides an eight-way powered driver seat that is adjustable in all directions, 64-color ambient lighting functionality, BlueLink connectivity with a number of in-car connected functions, and puddle lamps that project the Hyundai emblem.

The Hyundai Alcazar is offered in four different engine and transmission options, including a 2.0-litre petrol MPi engine and the well-known 1.5-litre diesel CRDi engine, both of which come with a choice of a six-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The petrol engine has good performance qualities, producing a maximum of 159 PS and a maximum torque of 192 Nm. The SUV’s MT specification claims that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 9.5 seconds thanks to its powerful petrol engine. The four-cylinder diesel engine is for those who seek a powerful yet fuel-efficient drivetrain that can easily eat up miles.
