Hyundai Price Hike: Planning to buy ?These variants become dearer from new financial year

Hyundai Price Hike: The costs of Hyundai Motor’s vehicles have increased starting this month. Starting on April 1, the Korean automaker reduced the cost of its premium SUVs such the Creta, Venue, Alcazar, and Tucson. Hyundai is the second carmaker after Maruti Suzuki to boost pricing of its models from this month due to rising input costs and redesigned engines to meet the new BS6 Phase-II pollution requirements. As of April 1, the new emission standards are in force.

Hyundai Venue 2022

The Hyundai Tucson SUV has received the largest price increase under the most recent pricing increase. Depending on the type chosen, the Creta small SUV and the Venue subcompact SUV, two of Hyundai Motor’s best-selling models in India, have increased by up to Rs 7,000.

Hyundai Price Hike: Hyundai Creta Knight Edition

With the exception of the executive variant, all Creta diesel variants have seen price increases of Rs 7,000. The base price of the Creta Diesel is now Rs. 11.96 lakh (ex-showroom), while the SX(O) Night Edition at the top will cost Rs. 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Creta 2020

The petrol Creta SUV model now costs Rs 3,000 more than the cheaper variants. Increased by Rs 7,000 are the 1.5-liter SX and SX(O) models with the IVT gearbox unit. The Creta petrol variant now has a starting price of Rs. 10.87 lakh and goes up to Rs. 18.74 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Venue

In the sub-compact market, the Hyundai Venue, a competitor of the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, has also witnessed its price rise by up to Rs 7,000. The two top-end petrol S(O) and SX(O) DCT variants, along with the SX and SX(O) diesel models, receive the largest price increases. Increased by Rs 3,000 is the petrol variant’s cheaper variation. Prices for the Hyundai Venue currently range from Rs 7.71 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The cost of the Venue’s N-Line version has also gone up by Rs 7,000.

Hyundai Price Hike: Hyundai Alcazar

A similar increase of Rs 3,000 has been made to the pricing of the Hyundai Alcazar. Prices now range from Rs 16.78 lakh to Rs 20.88 lakh (ex-showroom).
The cost of the new generation Tushow has increased by up to Rs 13,000 thanks to Hyundai. Prices now range from Rs. 28.63 lakh to Rs. 35.31 lakh (ex-showroom).
