Jaguar Land Rover: Jaguar Land Rover, a renowned British company, will now be referred to as JLR. The car company has stated that starting on June 1, 2023, it would be rebranded as JLR, which encompasses both the Jaguar and Land Rover brands. The shift is a part of JLR’s reinventing strategy, which aims to make JLR the home of brands for British luxury automobiles. The business announced its ambitions to do the same in April of this year.
House of Brands
The manufacturer will introduce four distinct brands under the new JLR “House of Brands” identity: Range Rover, Defender, Discovery, and Jaguar. As the corporation welcomes in the era of electric mobility combined with new-age luxury, these will no longer be a model line but rather their own brands. As part of its reinvent strategy, JLR is investing more than $18.6 billion, which will be utilised to upgrade and maintain manufacturing facilities to meet the demands of the electric mobility market. A new ELR platform being developed by the manufacturer will be employed in the Range Rover EV when it debuts in 2025.
Jaguar Land Rover upcoming car
The Jaguar brand will also introduce a number of new models based on the future JEA platform, including a four-door GT that will be the most powerful Jaguar vehicle ever made. This model is expected to debut in 2024, with deliveries beginning in 2025. Three other electric vehicles will be introduced after this.
The modification can now be seen on Land Rover’s India website, which prominently displays the brand names Range Rover, Defender, and Discovery instead of the Land Rover name. Additionally, as a legacy mark for the brand, the automaker will keep using the Land Rover name on this and subsequent models.
