Jeep Avenger specifications
The new Jeep SUV will be powered by a 1.2L turbo petrol engine with a peak power output of 100 bhp and will be available only with a manual transmission. The brand is also expected to introduce a new mild hybrid powertrain for the Avenger SUV, which will use Stellantis’s 54 kWh battery pack.
This configuration is expected to produce 156 bhp and 260 Nm of peak power and torque. This new midsize compact Jeep SUV, unlike many other Jeep SUVs, will only be available with a FWD setup as standard. All versions of the SUV, however, include Jeep’s Selec Terrain off-road modes for enhanced capability and performance.
Features and interior
The SUV is built on the modular CMP platform, which also serves as the foundation for the C3 in India. It features the brand’s signature seven-slot grille at the front, as well as split DRLs on either end. The car is outfitted with 18-inch machine-cut alloy wheels and body cladding on all sides.
The dashboard has a minimalist theme, and it includes features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument console, rectangular AC vents, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control, and more.
Jeep is also developing an all-electric SUV with a real-world range of over 400 kilometres on a single charge. More information about this SUV is still unknown. The new Jeep Avenger SUV will compete in India against rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and the new Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
