Kia Carnival: The Carens was released by Kia India earlier this year, and customers seem to like it. Given that the Carnival is already on the market and doing well in the premium segment, this is the brand’s second MPV. Although Kia has been selling the latest generation Carnival in other markets for some time, it has not yet reached India.

Kia Carnival New Generation
The 2023 Auto Expo is likely to feature the fourth-generation Kia Carnival. Kia previously teased the EV9 seven-seater electric SUV concept, which would also be on exhibition, at the major auto show, which will be held at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. When compared to the current model, the new Carnival represents a significant change.
Design and performance
Due to the South Korean car giant’s most recent design ethos, it will be more upscale than the outgoing Carnival. A more contemporary front grille portion, razor-sharp LED headlamps, a full-width LED light strip at the back, etc. are some of the exterior features. The fourth-generation Carnival’s inside will be more premium, similar to how the outside is.
In other countries, it is offered in seating arrangements for seven, nine, and eleven people; it will be fascinating to see which arrangements are chosen for the domestic market. The forthcoming Carnival will be equipped with a tonne of high-end technology, including twin 12.3-inch screens (one for the touchscreen infotainment system and the other for the fully-digital instrument console).
The most recent Carnival is offered elsewhere with a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine and a 2.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine. The former is already for sale in India and will probably continue to produce a maximum of 200 PS and a maximum torque of 440 Nm. Compared to the previous model, it has greater dimensions and scores highly for safety.
Price
The new generation Kia Carnival will be more spacious inside thanks to the larger interior dimensions. As it will compete against the top-end models of the recently announced Toyota Innova Hycross, expect the costs to be in the range of Rs. 30 lahks.
