Kia EV5: The electric vehicle market has seen immense growth in the past few years. All the companies have been launching their electric offerings and have been raising the market standards continuously. Now Kia has debuted its latest offering at the Chengdu Motor Show.
Kia Unveiled the EV5 at the motor show in China. The company had earlier offered a glimpse of the concept form of this car. However, the business has finally provided details on the production unit of the Kia EV5 electric SUV. The technical specs of the electric SUV have not been unveiled as of now. The company is expected to reveal them at the official launch.
It is expected to be the direct competitor of the upcoming XUV700 EV, which is expected to be known as the XUV.e8.
Kia EV5’s luxurious interior
The business claims that the EV5 electric SUV is more than just a car for millions of families. It’s more like an extra room for safe and pleasant seating.
The Kia EV5 features a wraparound digital panel, a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital display, and individual switches for different functionality.
Kia EV5’s design details
In terms of style, the SUV borrows the boxy silhouette of the EV5 from the company’s flagship electric SUV, the EV9. The SUV is distinguished by its muscular ‘tiger nose’ front fascia and a sleek vertical light cluster with a wraparound arrangement at the back. Aside from that, the set-back D-pillars make the SUV appear more family-friendly and bigger.
There are extra design elements added to the car that improve the overall appearance of the electric SUV, like the skid plates and cladding. Kia claims that the lowered roof spoiler increases the EV’s aerodynamic efficiency.
