Kia Seltos 2023: Customers nowadays prefer automobiles with greater options due to modern technology in the market, and Kia recently debuted its best car Kia Seltos with seven passenger sector. It can get a mileage of up to 19 kmpl. The facelifted Seltos is projected to start at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers can now pre-order the SUV at dealerships ahead of its July 4 release. The Maruti Ertiga, MG Astor, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Citroen C3 Aircross, Honda Elevate, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder will continue to compete with the 2023 Kia Seltos.
Engine and powertrain
The facelifted Seltos could be equipped with the same engines as the current model: a 1.5-litre petrol (115PS/144Nm) linked to a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic, and a 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/250Nm) mated to an iMT or a 6-speed automatic. The 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine will be replaced by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine from Carens (160PS/253Nm). The new engine will be available with either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DCT). The Maruti Ertiga is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild hybrid technology (103PS/137Nm) and comes with a five-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter gearbox. It also has a CNG powertrain with a lower output of 88PS and 121.5Nm.

Dual integrated 10.25-inch displays (digital driver’s display and touchscreen infotainment) and heated front seats could be standard on the facelifted Seltos. It will very certainly keep the existing model’s air purifier, ambient lighting, and ventilated front seats. It has also been announced that the facelifted Seltos will include a panoramic sunroof.
What about the safety of customers?
Six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-assist control (HAC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) features such as lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, and adaptive cruise control might ensure passenger safety.
