Kia’s Sonet Aurochs Edition: Kia India has recently launched the Aurochs edition of its popular compact SUV, the Kia Sonet. This special edition SUV is based on the HTX variant of the Sonet and comes with some cosmetic updates that make it even more attractive.
Attractive Looks and Colour Options
The Sonet Aurochs Edition has been introduced in four colours, including Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Sparkling Silver, and Glacier White Pearl. It features tangerine accents on the front and rear skid plates, centre wheel caps, grille, door garnish, and side skid plates, along with a 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheel, LED headlamps, and Auroch edition badging.

The new Sonet Aurochs can be purchased with either a diesel or a petrol-powered motor. It is available with either turbocharged 1.0-litre gasoline or 1.5-litre diesel engine, and it has a standard automatic transmission with six speeds. In addition, an alternative transmission known as a dual-clutch gearbox (DCT) with seven speeds is offered. Both the petrol and diesel engines generate 114 horsepower, with the petrol engine producing a marginally higher amount of power (118 bhp) than the diesel engine.
Comfort and Convenience Features
The Kia Sonet Aurochs Edition comes with several features that add to the overall comfort and convenience of the SUV. It features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports both Apple Car Play and Android Auto. It also has 4 airbags, an electric sunroof, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a height-adjustable driving seat, a remote engine start function, cruise control, automatic climate control, rear AC vents for rear seat passengers, and drive and traction modes.
The price of the Kia Sonet Aurochs has been fixed at Rs 11.85 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an affordable option for SUV enthusiasts. With its powerful engine, attractive looks, and added features, the Sonet Aurochs Edition is sure to be a popular choice among SUV buyers.
