Kia Sonet Facelift to be unveiled on THIS date, will come packed with ADAS, Details

Kia Sonet Facelift: In an official announcement, Kia Motors has shown the second teaser image for its upcoming Sonet, which will be equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). In the subcompact SUV market, the Kia Sonet will be the second vehicle to incorporate ADAS technology. With Level 1 ADAS technology, the Hyundai Venue N Line is the first vehicle in the Indian market. In this article, we will share all we know about this amazing upcoming compact SUV.

Kia Sonet Facelift details

Design and features

The previous teaser revealed a number of design improvements on the facelift, including a redesigned grille, updated LED taillamps, tiny LED fog lamps, and an LED bar across the width of the tailboard. The car is also expected to receive new alloy wheels. Features-wise, the upcoming Sonet SUV is expected to include an electric sunroof, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, an electric 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless mobile networking, and a 360-degree camera. Additionally, Level 1 ADAS technologies like front collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning might be installed on the car.

Powertrain details

It is anticipated that the updated Sonet will keep its present lineup of engines. Three engines are listed: a 1.5-litre diesel motor, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.
The updated car will probably come with a six-speed manual, seven-speed DSG gearbox, six-speed iMT, and five-speed manual gearbox options.

Launch date

On December 14, the Kia Sonet (facelift) will be officially unveiled.
