The Tata Nexon has been in the market for a very long time whereas the Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is expected to launch in the Indian market soon. Let’s compare them and see which one will be better for you.
Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus vs Tata Nexon
Engine details
Specifications | Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus | Tata Nexon |
---|---|---|
Engine | 1493 cc | 1199 cc – 1497 cc |
Transmission | Manual | Manual/Automatic |
Fuel | Diesel | Diesel/Petrol |
The Bolero Neo’s 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine is rated at 100 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque and could be used in the car. However, we predict that the Indian SUV manufacturer will also offer a more powerful engine for the Neo Plus variant.
The Nexon offers two different engine options: a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, diesel engine with 110PS and 260Nm and a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol unit with 120PS and 170Nm. Both engines are mated to either a six-speed manual or an automatic manual transmission.
Features
The Altroz’s three-spoke steering wheel and touchscreen infotainment system are carried over to the Nexon, along with added functions like cruise control, auto headlights and wipers, and linked car tech. Other standard features include rear parking sensors, dual front airbags, electronic stability control, and i-RA voice assistant.
Expect the Mahindra Bolero Neo to share many of the same design features as the Bolero Neo. According to the spy photos, the SUV has a sculpted front bumper, a toothy grille completed in chrome, and black shoulder panelling that extends the entire length of the SUV. The identical 15-inch alloy wheels that are on the Bolero Neo will also be on the Bolero Neo Plus. The Bolero Neo Plus does not appear to have blacked-out B- and C-pillars, unlike its smaller sibling.
Price in India
Nexon has 61 versions and 8 colour choices. Nexon diesel variants are priced starting at Rs. 9.99 Lakh and the top diesel model is priced at Rs. 14.34 Lakh. Nexon petrol models have priced between Rs. 7.79 Lakh and Rs. 12.99 Lakh. There are 27 different Nexon automatic versions available, with prices starting at Rs. 9.44 Lakh.
The Price of the Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is still not known as of right now.
