Mahindra: On Wednesday, Mahindra & Mahindra announced that starting in January of next year, the prices of its inventory of passenger and commercial vehicles will increase.
As stated in a statement by the corporation, this change is a reaction to growing expenses brought on by inflation and rising commodity prices.
Mahindra to hike prices from January 2024
The manufacturer’s whole lineup of SUVs, including the XUV700, Scorpio, XUV300, Bolero, XUV400 EV, and others, will be subject to the price increase. “The adjustment is in response to the rising costs due to inflation and increased commodity prices,” the company stated in a statement.
Mahindra also stated that it has attempted to accommodate as many of the higher expenses as it can. But starting in the following year, a part of that will be transferred to the clients. The pricing rise will vary across different SUVs and commercial vehicles, although the company did not disclose the exact amount of the price increase on any model.
