Mahindra XUV400: Mahindra is preparing for the Indian debut of the XUV400, an upgraded version of their all-electric SUV. The electric model will receive two more models with the next update, namely EC Pro and EL Pro. The redesigned XUV400 will probably be unveiled by the carmaker in early 2024, along with the XUV300 facelift. Read on to learn more.
Features on the Mahindra XUV400 Pro models
Some of the features that the EC Pro variant will have are Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI) hub integration, rear AC vents, DATC, rear USB ports, and passive keyless entry with push button start/stop.
Additionally, the EL Pro model will come equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Alexa, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, auto-dimming IRVM, front fog lamps, and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster. The dashboard and steering wheel of the electric SUV will also be updated.
Mahindra may choose to launch the facelifted XUV400 with the XUV300, or it may decide to stick with the revised XUV400’s present body shape.
Powertrain details
An electric motor with 148 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque powers the Mahindra XUV400.
The 34kWh battery pack that comes with the EC Pro variant will be different from the 39.5kWh battery that will be included with the EL Pro models. For the 34kWh pack and the 39.4kWh unit, the real-world range will be about 250 km and 290 km, respectively, with a maximum speed of 150 km/h.
