The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara generated remarkable sales of 10,486 units in June 2023, further solidifying its place in the mid-size SUV market. A year-over-year (YoY) comparison is not possible because the model wasn’t offered for purchase in the same month last year. However, this impressive performance is evidence of the car’s success in the nation’s present mid-size SUV market.

To put things in perspective, the Grand Vitara’s main rival, the Kia Seltos, only managed to sell 39,892 units over the same time period, falling short of the Grand Vitara’s impressive sales numbers. It should be mentioned that the Grand Vitara defeated the Kia Seltos this year since many individuals postponed their plans to purchase the Seltos due to the impending facelift of the Seltos, which has already been launched. We will have to wait to learn the Seltos’ sales numbers now that the new facelift has been introduced. In the mid-size SUV market, the Grand Vitara also managed to do significantly better than the Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
