Maruti Suzuki Fronx: With the introduction of the brand-new Fronx, Maruti Suzuki increased the scope of its SUV lineup in the nation. At the Auto Expo 2023, the firm debuted the small SUV with the Maruti Jimny. The Fronx, a member of the Maruti Suzuki family that lies between the Baleno and Brezza, has an ex-showroom price in India of Rs. 7.46 lakh. The sub-four-meter SUV is available in two powertrain options, five trim options, including Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha.
What’s good about Maruti Suzuki Fronx?
The automobile manufacturer has mostly targeted youthful urban Indian consumers looking for sub-four metre SUVs. The Fronx’s commanding appearance, 190mm of ground clearance, SUV-like styling, and nimble turbo-petrol engine are just a few of its obvious advantages. In addition to this, the SUV has a wireless charger, quick-charging USB ports, a 360-degree video, a six-speaker audio system, and cruise control. Additionally, the cabin has imitation leather upholstery and a dual-tone black and wine interior design.
What’s not so good about the Maruti Suzuki Fronx?
Even with all the features mentioned above, the Fronx lacks a few. Even though the top-spec alpha variant costs Rs. 13.13 lakh (ex-showroom), the SUV lacks a sunroof, a rain-sensing wiper, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a middle-row rear seat armrest.

When compared to the other versions in the Fronx portfolio, the Delta variant offers the most value for the money. A touchscreen entertainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is included, in addition to amenities like automatic headlights, LED DRLs, steering wheel mounted controls, automatic climate control, and more.

The Baleno-based coupe’s 1.0-liter booster jet gasoline engine makes its premiere with a tuned output of 99 horsepower and 147.6 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, it is available with a 1.2-liter petrol engine that generates 89 horsepower and 113 nm of torque. The latter may be obtained with either a five-speed manual gearbox or an optional AMT unit, while the former can be had with either a six-speed torque converter or a five-speed manual gearbox.
