Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Sigma: The Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki’s forthcoming flagship SUV, has just been unveiled. The Grand Vitara, which is positioned to compete with the Hyundai Creta, is available in six models (Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta+, and Alpha+) with two powertrain configurations. An “Intelligent Electric Hybrid” and a “Smart Hybrid” are the available powertrains.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Sigma: Price
According to a leaked document, the base model of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is the least expensive SUV when compared to its rivals, costing Rs. 9.5 lakh, ex-showroom. The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the Grand Vitara’s sibling product, and the Kia Seltos, both priced at Rs. 10.19 lakh, are the next closest in price. (All costs are ex-showroom.)

Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha are the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara’s bottom four versions; the Intelligent Electric Hybrid is only available on the Zeta+ and Alpha+ models, which are the top two. The features of several variations vary, but the general dimensions stay the same.
Engine and transmission
A mild hybrid powertrain is offered with the Sigma version. It is propelled by a 1.5-liter “Smart Hybrid” hybrid petrol engine, which is capable of 100 bhp of peak power and 136.8 Nm of peak torque. This model only comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. The second model, called Delta, comes with an automatic transmission. The starting pricing for the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara automatic is Rs. 12.50 lakh for the Delta automatic.

Key Features
The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Sigma model has full-wheel caps and 17-inch tyres. Dual-tone alloy wheels are included starting with the Zeta version. In addition, it has dual-tone interiors, a 4.2-inch information display, bi-Halogen projector headlights, LED DRLs, ORVMs with turn indicators, adjustable steering, wheel-mounted radio controls, keyless entry, reclining rear seats, and rear AC vents.
It has dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ESP, and hill hold assist for safety.
While the Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder are similar in features, the Kia Seltos base model has four airbags but only 16-inch wheels. The Hyundai Creta’s base model also has 16-inch wheels, two airbags, and ABS with EBD.
The Hyundai Creta is the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara’s main rival. Other competitors include the Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and its Toyota sibling, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Since its launch on July 11, Maruti Suzuki has allegedly received more than 20,000 reservations for the Grand Vitara SU. According to the corporation, the higher Zeta and Alpha trims have accounted for more than half of all reservations.
