Engine and transmission

A 1.2-litre K12B engine that complies with BS6 powers the Ignis Facelift. With a 5-speed manual and an AMT transmission, it continues to produce 83PS of power and 113Nm of torque.

Two engines will be available for Citroen’s C3: an 82PS 1.2-litre normally aspirated petrol engine and a 110PS/190Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. Fuel economy estimates for the former, which is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission, are 19.8 kmpl, while those for the turbocharged engine are 19.4 kmpl.

Features

Ignis includes an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, as well as automated climate control and LED projector headlamps with DRLs. As part of the safety equipment, there are dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.

Among the features of the C3 are a height-adjustable driver seat, a day/night IRVM, a four-speaker sound system, and a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include an instrument panel with digital displays, fog lamps, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and steering-mounted audio controls. Front seat belt reminders, two front airbags, ABS with EBD, a reversing camera, and rear parking sensors all contribute to passenger safety. Electronic stability programming (ESP) and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) will probably also be included in the hatchback’s top-spec turbo versions.

The Maruti Ignis has a starting price of Rs. 5.84 Lakh and a maximum price of Rs. 8.16 Lakh. There are 7 different Maruti Ignis models available.

Citroen C3 pricing ranges from Rs. 6.16 Lakh to Rs. 8.43 Lakh. There are six different Citroen C3 models available.
