Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Suzuki has recently launched its premium crossover, Fronx in the South African market, the Autamaker has launched the vehicle with an increase priced this time. In the south African market, the vehicle iis offered in 2 variants in total which includes- GL and GLX with a single powertrain options. The Baleno bases coupe in the car is exported from India. Engine Specifications
The major difference between the Indian and South African variant is that the SA variant comes with a bigger capacity of engine, it comes powered by a 1.5 litre K15B petrol engine coupled with a five speed manual and 4 Speed automatic transmission. The ugraded powerhouse is now capable to produce the maximum power output of 102 bhp and a peak torque of 138 Nm. Maruti Suzuki offers the same engine in the Ertiga MPV and XL6 in India.
As far as the features are concerned, the top spec variant of the vehicle comes with a 9 inch touchscreen infotainment system, heads-up display, Automatic Climate Control, 360 degree camera, wireless charging, auto dimming IRVM, ambient lighting and much more. The New compact SUV also offers a host of safety features like 6 Airbags, automatic headlamps, hill hold control, ABS with EBD, Telescopic adjustable steering wheel and much more
Price Details of Maruti Fronx South African Variant
The Company has offered Fronx (SA Variant) with a much higher price tag of Rs. 12.33 Lakh. In India, the vehicle comes with a startng price of Rs. 7.46 lakh, although the price is till worth it as the manufacturer has added a much bigger engine in this variant.
