Maruti Suzuki YY8 electric SUV: The all-electric SUV idea from Maruti Suzuki will be unveiled at the forthcoming Auto Expo in January 2023. The Maruti Suzuki Stall at the show, which will display 16 different vehicles, will focus on this concept EV.

All about Maruti Suzuki YY8 electric SUV
The YY8-coded electric concept SUV is supported by the 27PL platform, a branch of Toyota’s 40PL global architecture. The E-SUV will be in the mid-size segment, competing with Creta and Seltos, with a length of over 4,200mm and a wheelbase of 2,700mm.
Also, Toyota’s bZ4x or the brand-new bZ small Concept might have served as an inspiration for this new EV design. Additionally, LFP blade cell batteries from Chinese automaker BYD are anticipated to be used in the Maruti YY8 electric SUV. Two sizes of the battery might be offered: a 48 kWh unit with a maximum range of 400 km and a 59 kWh unit with a maximum range of 500 km.
