Mercedes AMG GT 63 S E Performance specifications
A hybrid vehicle made by Mercedes is called the AMG GT 63 S E Performance. The first plug-in hybrid model from Mercedes-AMG is tailored to satisfy customer demands. A 204-horsepower electric motor is paired with a 4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The sum of these two results in 843 horsepower and more than 1,400 Nm of torque. This premium vehicle can reach 100 kmph from 0 in 2.9 seconds. The car can go 316 kph at its top speed.
Battery and motor details
A 400V, 6.1kWh battery powers the car’s electric powertrain. In line with Mercedes, it only weighs 89 kilogrammes. The PHEV, according to the automaker, has a 12km electric range. A 130 kph top speed is possible with this electric motor. It has four different types of regenerative braking and can be driven with just one pedal in some circumstances.
Design
On the inside, it is identical. The GT 63 SE performs similarly to other Mercedes PHEV models in terms of power. For the MBUX system, this kind of car has many hybrid-specific displays. They comprise a real-time power data gauge, an electric motor power indication, and an EV range indicator.
The AMG GT 63 SE Performance differs from the basic model in only a few minor ways, including the front bumper. New exhaust outlets, new badging, and an entirely new style of alloy wheels are added. Moreover, it has a flap on the back bumper that conceals the charging port. In addition, the vehicle appears very different from the ordinary PHEV GT 4-door coupe variant.
