Ola Electric: Electric scooter sales are rising steadily across the nation. Nowadays, people favour electric scooters over petrol-powered scooters. The main causes of this are their cheap operating and maintenance costs. OLA has successfully carved out a place for itself in the electric scooter market under this circumstance. Ola sold the most electric scooters during the April sale, according to data. While firms like TVS, Bajaj, and Hero have fallen behind.
When comparing April 2023 to April 2022, two-wheeler sales increased by 24.80%, according to information provided by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA). There were 66466 two-wheelers produced this year. Which was 53256 units a year ago.
Ola Electric’s growth
In comparison to last year, OLA sales have climbed by 72.19 per cent. 21882 electric scooters have been sold by the company. In April 2022, there were just 12708 units. When comparing the sales of TVS and Ampere, however, we can see that both businesses were fighting for second place. 8,726 electric scooters manufactured by TVS were sold.
