Ola Electric: For the month of October 2023, Ola Electric has made available sales data. Almost 35% of the market for electric 2-wheelers was occupied by the business last month after it sold 24,000 units. Moreover, Ola Electric saw a 2.5-fold boost in sales over the Navratri and Dussehra holiday season compared to the same period the previous year, suggesting strong sales momentum for the months to come. The ongoing Ola Bharat EV Fest with exciting festive offers and a much broader portfolio of Ola scooters has led to Ola becoming the favourite choice for customers during the festive season. With Diwali round the corner, we expect the sales momentum to further build up, leading to a milestone year for EVs in India.”
Ola Bharat EV Fest
The firm announced a month-long Ola Bharat EV Fest on October 16 and is providing a number of discounts and bonuses as part of it. These consist of an extended 5-year battery warranty (worth up to Rs 7,000) for its entire lineup, which includes the S1 Air, S1 X+, and S1 Pro; an exchange bonus of up to Rs 10,000; and financing offers with partner bank discounts of up to Rs 7,500; no down payment; no-cost EMI; no processing fee; and interest rates as low as 5.99 percent. Interestingly, these deals are available through November 12, 2023.
