Ola S1 Pro Gen1 vs S1 Pro Gen2: Ola has upgraded its whole electric scooter lineup with the introduction of the S1X, S1 Air, and S1 Pro Gen 2. All of the scooters have received considerable advancements over prior models, and the most are brand new. The S1 Pro Gen 2 receives a considerable improvement over the previous model, with a revised battery pack, platform, and new components. Let’s take a closer look at the differences between the S1 Pro Gen 2 and the previous Ola S1 Pro.

Battery and range
Although the new S1 Pro has the same 4kWh battery pack as the previous model, Ola has improved the unit’s efficiency and weight. The new S1 Pro Gen 2 has a stated range of 180 kilometres, can accelerate from 0 to 40 kilometres per hour in 2.6 seconds, and can achieve a peak speed of 120 kilometres per hour.
The older-generation S1 had a range of 170km, could accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 2.9 seconds, and could achieve a peak speed of 116kmph. However, charging the battery stays the same, taking 6.5 hours to charge from 0 to 100%.
Know about the design and performance
The new Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 is built on a radically modified platform that is lighter and stronger, allowing the new S1 Pro to have a flatter floorboard than the previous model, which has a hump in the centre. In addition, the new S1 Pro features typical telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks, as opposed to the previous model, which had a unique single-sided front fork and a monoshock. The suspension update is a significant design adjustment that gives the new Ola S1 Pro a more classic appearance. Another difference in the rear is the new box-section swingarm, which replaces the earlier vehicle’s single-sided unit, stealing the design feature. Apart from these upgrades, the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 looks just like the previous model, complete with elegant turn signals and a dual LED headlamp configuration.
