Polestar 3 EV Car: Polestar is a Swedish automotive brand founded by Volvo Cars in 1996. The company recently introduced the POLESTAR 3 SUV, which has a starting price of $97’400 (ex-showroom), or Rs. 80 Lakh in Indian rupees.
Although the brand is not yet present in India, given the popularity of electric vehicles in the country, the brand is considering entering the Indian automotive market. With its expensive vehicles, Volvo is already a popular choice in India, and following the success of the Polestar 3 overseas, the brand may launch its electric vehicles in India in the future as well. The Polestar 3 is an electric SUV with 380 kW/517hp dual motors and a range of 482 kilometres.

The Polestar 3 SUV has all-wheel drive and is powered by a long-range twin motor that generates 380 kW/517 hp and 910 Nm torque. The vehicle’s top speed is 210 km/h, and it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.
Exterior
The Polestar 3 has a sporty and aerodynamic design with a front aero wing and a rear aero blade that sits on 21″ diamond cut alloy wheels that can be upgraded to 22″ at an extra cost. It also has gold-painted disc brakes on both the front and rear axles.
Polestar 3 features 21-inch black diamond cut 5-spoke wheels, automatically folding frameless mirrors with wide-angle view, active high beam auto levelling LED headlights with DRLs, and flush door handles with driver’s seat. When you approach the car, the fixed panoramic sunroof with Polestar emblem extends outwards. It has two cargo spaces for luggage: 32 litres in the front and a massive 484 litres in the back.
Interior features
Interior features include a 14.5′′ large centre display, sports seats with lumbar support, a head-up-display (HUD) that projects information on the windscreen into the driver’s field of view, a heated steering wheel, a 1610W audio entertainment system with 25 interior speakers, Internet connectivity with over-the-air (OTA) updates, and a navigation system. Along with this, Google Maps support has been added, which plans your route based on the charge of the vehicle and also shows charging stations along the way.

Polestar 3 is powered by a 400V Lithium-Ion battery with a capacity of 111 kWh, which can be charged up to 80% in 30 minutes using a 250 kW DC charger. The car can also be fully charged at home in 11 hours using an 11 kW AC charger.
