Power and performance of the SRC 500
The SRC 500 is powered by a 480cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 25bhp of power at 5,750rpm and 36Nm of torque at 4,250rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox, which offers decent tractability. During our fuel run, the bike returned a fuel efficiency of around 34.8kmpl, and with its 15.5-litre fuel tank, it provides a range of 540km. However, the numbers may vary based on your riding style and traffic conditions.
Design and styling of the SRC 500
The QJ Motor SRC 500 boasts a retro-styled design, which is likely to appeal to a wide range of buyers. All three colours are covered in a dual-tone paint scheme: silver black, golden black, and red with white. The bike features a round headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and a single-piece seat that complements the retro look. The SRC 500’s front and rear fenders, along with its turn indicators and taillights, are reminiscent of classic motorcycles.
Price, variants, and rivals of the SRC 500
The QJ Motor SRC 500 is priced at Rs. 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it a direct competitor to the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. The bike is available in a single variant, and customers can choose from the three available colours. Though the SRC 500 doesn’t have any direct rivals, it falls in the same price range as the Interceptor 650.
