Skoda Auto India: We witnessed price increases for a range of vehicles, including both personal and passenger cars, almost annually. In the next year, many automakers also plan to raise the price of a wide variety of cars in various price ranges. Several automakers, including Skoda, Citroen, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Honda, and Audi, have also announced that they will start raising prices in January 2024. Starting on January 1, 2024, Skoda Auto India will also raise prices by up to 2% for all of its passenger vehicle models. The Skoda Slavia, Kushaq, and Kodiaq will see price increases that take effect on the vehicles’ ex-showroom costs.
What is the need behind this increase?
Skoda Auto said in a statement that increased supply, input, and operating costs are to blame for the price increase. The increase will apply to all Skoda Auto India vehicles, including the premium 4×4 Kodiaq, the Slavia sedan, and the Kushaq SUV. The corporation stated in a press release that the price correction is the result of growing supply, input, and operating costs. In 2024, Skoda will not be the only manufacturer to announce price increases. Citroen, Mahindra, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, and Volkswagen have all announced increases in the range of 1.5 to 3 percent.
Skoda Auto India: Know about the prices
There are four primary versions of the Skoda Slavia sedan: Active, Ambition, Ambition Plus, and Style. The Skoda Slavia is a five-seat sedan with a 5-star Global NCAP rating. Its prices range from Rs 10.89 lakh to Rs 19.12 lakh (both ex-showroom). The midsize SUV Skoda Kushaq comes in three different models: Active, Ambition, and Style. Prices for the mid-size SUV Skoda Kushaq range from Rs 10.89 lakh to Rs 19.51 lakh (ex-showroom). Regarding the Skoda Kodiaq, its ex-showroom pricing range is between Rs 38.50 lakh and Rs 40 lakh. Skoda’s flagship model in the nation, the Kodiaq, comes in three different versions: L&K, Sportline, and Style.
