Suzuki and Toyota have collaborated to make a small electric SUV which will be the most cheapest EV car offering of the Japanese automakers. Earlier, Both brands signed an agreement to share their technologies and models with one another globally following which they share their models with each other in Indian market. Now the alliance is all set to push electric vehicles in their portfolio.
Bestcarweb, a Japanese automotive publication reported that Suzuki and Toyota are making efforts to manufacture the production version of the Toyota bZ electric vehicle which will be the most affordable EV offering of the company. Toyota seems to have intensified its global strategy. It is expected that the BZ small EV is a part of its global strategy. The Mini electric SUV can help Toyota to attract the nternational consumers towards its pure electric portfolio.
According to a report, Toyota bZ small electric vehicle will be showcased globally in 2025. It also claims that the forthcoming small electric vehicle will be the production version of the bZ Small Crossover concept.
The company showacased bZ in digital renderings as a prototype of the exact full size. It comes with blacked out windows. The small electric SUV was showcased as the smallest vehicle with the Beyond Zero (bZ) lineup. The small offering will be designed keeping the global market as a focus market. Although, the automaker has not released any specs related information of the bz Small EV, the litlle we know is it comes based on eTNGA architecture.
