Tata Altroz XM and XM(S): Tata Motors has added two new trims to the Altroz premium hatchback, the XM and XM(S), which are only offered with the 1.2 petrol-manual engine. They are priced at Rs 6.90 lakh and Rs 7.35 lakh, respectively, (ex-showroom, Delhi). Inclusions in these new tiers include a sunroof, a driver’s seat that can be adjusted in height, and more. Other Altroz variations also receive new features as standard.

The XM grade has an improved dash with a more premium feel, steering-mounted controls, a driver seat height adjuster, electrically controlled ORVMs, R16 complete wheel covers, and more. Additionally, the XM(S) will feature an electronic sunroof. A larger, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system is also available from the manufacturer as an add-on.
Know about the engine
The 1.2-liter Revotron petrol engine, which cranks out 88.2 horsepower and 115 Nm of maximum torque, is the only one with which the brand-new variations will be offered. Only a five-speed manual gearbox is available from the firm.

A 5-star rating from the Global NCAP tests makes the Tata Altroz one of the safest hatchbacks in the nation. The vehicle received a perfect 5-star rating after receiving 16.13 out of 17 possible points for adult occupant safety and 29 out of 49 possible points for child occupant safety.
