Tata Nano: The Tata Nano, the company’s cheapest and now-discontinued automobile, has come up for discussion before, although this time not because of any particular model or upgrade. This particular vehicle is instead the subject of discussion because only one buyer had it converted from a fuel vehicle to a solar-powered vehicle.
Solar-powered Tata Nano
Due to the exorbitant price of petrol, a West Bengali businessman named Manojit Mandal converted his vehicle into a solar vehicle. This red Nano automobile has a solar panel installed on the roof, which generates electricity for it. The car owner claims that this vehicle has a top speed of 80 km/h and can travel 100 km for about Rs. 30–35.
Why did he do this?
The businessman claims that the government provided little assistance for this endeavour. Yet he has had this dream since he was a young boy. He has made modifications to his Tata Nano in order to avoid paying for expensive fuel.
